From Hemmings' weekly newsletter comes word of a price reduction on what appears to be a book worthy of your personal automotive library. Some people, myself included, feel that the world's best GT cars of any era were built between 1953 and 1973. Those wonderful years witnessed the ultimate in Italian styling along with a number of unforgettable marques from France, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the USA. The author, Seth Davidson, starts by defining the GT car, then profiles his 53 favorites in chronological order, two-to-three pages each, illustrated with color and black-and-white photos. Tech specs are included. Hemmings reviewer Mark McCourt gave the book three out of four stars. I'd add one more star for that pretty Cessna C-172 on the cover.
