A Muscle Car For Your Living Room

With cars of the 60's currently attracting absurd prices in auctions, it follows that diecast models of the muscle car era are popular. Even if you can't afford the real thing, it's nice to have a model to be admired by your friends. And if you do happen to be a lucky muscle car owner, then why not have one in the living room while your car sleeps in its garage? Here's my favorite from a selection available at Supercar Collectibles: a 1970 dodge challenger
T/A in Burnt Orange with white interior and Rallye wheels. One of the company's limited-edition 1:18-scale models (which it began producing in the summer of 1996) the Challenger features a black scooped hood, black side-stripe, and correct-style hinges on the opening hood, doors, and trunk. Under-the-hood details are wired and plumbed, while the interior is carpeted and includes moveable visors. A spare tire and jack are in the trunk. You can't buy the Challenger yet but pre-order is available, with deliveries expected the week of June 12th. At $64.95, one heck of a bargain compared to those scary auction prices.Permalink: A Muscle Car For Your Living Room
