Private Collections

We've all done it. Yes, we've driven by a farmer's yard where worn-out cars (and tractors, etc.) have been left to rust. We've wondered why (fantasizing, regardless of lack of funds) they've been set aside as useless junk. But sometimes junked cars turn into a collection the owner just can't bring himself to abandon. Such is the case with the English cars seen above in an Australian "barnyard" featured on Sports Car Market magazine. Click on this link and find yourself in a slide show of old Brits plus a few Yankee prides, many suited to a new life. My view is that every car relates to history and at least one of each deserves to be preserved. But is one enough?
