Many's the time I've complained about Christmas promotions coming far too early in the season. And yet, here am I, suggesting Yuletide gifts in early October! In my own defence let me add that I'm not selling gifts, merely bringing them to your attention, which I'll continue doing right up to December 24. The reason is that people who plan ahead, and that obviously includes classic car buffs, sometimes like to purchase gifts well in advance if they happen to spot one that's uniquely different.
