Every so often I like to titillate our viewers with something classic car enthusiasts can appreciate other than cars. Today... a luxury yacht. Okay, not exactly luxurious but its an inexpensive way to get on the water (or in the water if you're not careful). This Mini Inflatable Catamaran is one you can easily transport and handle yourself. It's light, sets up in 30-minutes, carries you and a friend. Fits in a bag and can easily be tossed in the back seat of your car. Priced at $4500, about half the cost of a 25' used sailboat. It would tack reasonably well but any kind of offshore breeze sent it on a course to Morocco, because the two vertical outriggers were not long enough to counteract drift. I later decided it might make a decent kayak and with permission, stored it in a clubhouse on the Thames. The last time I saw this sorry craft it had partially deflated and looked like a... well, you know.Permalink: Carry Your Cat in Your Classic Car
