Classic Cars and Hot Rods Gather at a Mountain in Georgia. A Mountain in Georgia?

Call me ignorant but I never knew there were mountains in Georgia. Come to think of it, you'd be surprised how many eastern Canadians think Vancouver is on the Pacific Coast's Vancouver Island! I live on said Island but that great city, home to the next Winter Olympics, is firmly located on the BC mainland. We all need to travel more.
Regardless of the geography lesson, this is a roundabout way of reminding folks in or near the Atlanta area that they can have a wonderful time visiting the 3rd Annual Cool Car Festival at Stone Mountain Park on Saturday, March 31. The event is presented by YearOne, a Georgia-based company that specializes in muscle car restoration parts. The show is open to all types of collector cars, including hot rods, street rods and classics, and is aimed at entertaining the entire family. "Dream rides in classic cars" is on the menu, along with live music and entertainment, a manufacturer's midway, chassis dyno tests, vendors, kids' play village and a whole lot more. Dream Rides proceeds will benefit Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC).
Looks to me as though YearOne knows how to create a good time for all and I wish them luck. If you spot a Canadian geezer staring in awe at the mountain, that's me. A guy who lives near mountains up to 14,000 feet high but appreciates that even in Georgia, there may be some impressive, uh, hills. Note what's in the background in this image from the Cool Car site. Thanks to Hemmings Motor News for making me aware of this event.
