Coming: VF1, the 1970's All Over Again

The 1970's had to be the most exciting decade in F1 racing. If you were there watching, as I was, you'd love to turn the clock back and see it again. If you weren't, the next best thing is to attend a vintage race weekend where F1 cars are on the card. Ah, but to see it from the driver's perspective is even better. Which is what the media production company VRMM is offering in the spring of 2007. The company custom-designed and engineered HD cameras, then mounted them on historic F1 cars during races at some of the world's greatest circuits, to create a fascinating 13-week TV series. Episodes include interviews and commentary by mario andretti
, Emerson Fittipaldi, Alan Jones, John Watson, John Surtees, Max Mosely and others, interspersed with exciting on-track action. VRMM has signed an agreement for global distribution and if it isn't coming to a cable outlet near you, kick, scream and raise hell, then get your friends to do the same. Thanks to Vintage Motorsport magazine for tipping me off on this one.Permalink: Coming: VF1, the 1970's All Over Again
