French-Bodied Rolls- Royce Reigns at Blackhawk Show
Filed in archive Concours by Philip Powell on August 17, 2006
Yesterday I gave you a brief glimpse of some of the cars at the Blackhawk Collection special show in Pebble Beach. Before adding some blogs from today's fabulous Tour d'Elegance allow me to whet your appetite with one more Blackhawk beauty, in this case a 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental 3-Position Cabriolet
, with body by the famed French coachbuilder Kellner. It was originally delivered to Edmund Blawl of St. Cloud, France and has since had several distinguished owners in the UK and the US. Indeed, the pedigree of this Rolls-Royce is almost as long as its price tag: $750,000. The information sheets under the wipers spoiled the shot but she looks lovely, regardless.Permalink: French-Bodied Rolls- Royce Reigns at Blackhawk Show
