The Hudson Super Eight featured a redesigned chassis hailed by Sir Malcolm Campbell in the marque's British advertising campaign as "a really great engineering advancement." A Hudson Super Eight averaged 87.68mph for 24 hours over the Bonneville Salt Flats in October 1936.
