Every so often I like to feature a beautiful piece of automotive fine art from the Car Art Inc. site. Because of the possible dissolution of Chrysler, this painting by Ken Eberts of a 1957 Chrysler 300C seems especially appropriate. The artist describes it this way: "That kid gazing in amazement through the showroom window is me! It portrays childhood memories of riding my bike to collect brochures at new car dealerships along Jerome Avenue in The Bronx, New York, where I lived at the time." Something all of us old enough to remember those days can relate to. It's a signed and numbered giclee print, one of 50 artist proofs, available for a very reasonable $100. Size is only 8" X 10" but nicely framed up, it will fit on any wall, reminding you every day of when Chryslers were great and car showrooms were magical places to visit. Check it out at the Car Art Inc. site and tell me this doesn't summon a large dose of autonostalgia.
