Now this is my idea of a great place to hold a collector car show. A broad sandy beach, warm ocean water, sunshine, a long pier and... wait! Where are the cars? Well, they're pier-side and on the streets of beautiful Pismo Beach, California and when this year's "Pismo Beach Classic" takes place on June 15th to 17th you'll be able to join in as an entrant or as an eager spectator. According to the organisers this is "Central California's finest seaside classic and street rod car show," now in its 20th year and attracting in excess of 100,000 spectators viewing hundreds of classic restorations and street rods. Featured are a Show and Shine, Cruise Night, live charity auction by Barrett-Jackson, a BBQ, Winery Poker Run, and many other fun events.
