While taking some 250+ photos of classic cars at the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours it occured to me that many spectators with their fashionable costumes, 60′s ponytails and cigars, were often more interesting than the cars. Being a shy guy, reluctant to stick my camera into people’s faces without their permission (I’d make a lousy papparazzi) I did manage to sneak off a few shots which I’ll expose in future blogs. The ladies you see here were equally shy but I managed to convince them that if they faced my lens they’d be famous. Okay, maybe semi-famous. It’s all part of the fun at any vintage car gathering, though it was nice to attend one where jeans were not the uniform of the day.
