Two Streamlined Zephyrs Meet: One is a Lincoln, the Other a Train

Two Zephyrs

As Christmas looms closer there is still time to find a gift for the classic car enthusiast. Or, to narrow the choices, the enthusiast who appreciates all sorts of classic transport. Today's blog is personal inasmuch as I enjoy memories of both cars and trains, especially when they're blended into one magnificent painting. The artist is Jack Juratovic who adds "this was a prototype of the Continental using a Lincoln-Zephyr grille. Mercury is the name of the Train." The painting is entitled "Lincoln/Mercury – Night Train." The original will set you back $2,500.00 but set your sites a little lower at a custom 29" by 23" giclée for $595.00 or a 27" x 17" giclée for just $295.00. I'll have to await the gift cards.
