Watch Out For Spiders! Latest Barn Find Has More Bugs Than a VW Convention

Watch Out For Spiders! Latest Barn Find Has More Bugs Than a VW Convention

Just when you think all the barn finds have been found, another appears to restore your faith in magic. In this instance the cars are owned by a guy who goes by the name "Wilson" and deals in Puerto Rican real estate. Wilson started collecting in the 1960s and in 20 years found himself with 90-odd cars, all stored in a downtown Worcester, Massachusetts, warehouse until 1990 when his kids him found a cheaper place. Hemmings revealed this fascinating tale in their weekly blog site and its description of the conditions inside that cave are enough to convince me I wouldn't want to set foot in the place, old cars or not. Yech! Apparently the rent owing is $120,000 (must be a very understanding landlord) so the cars will be sold as a group for exactly that amount. If a buyer's not found, they'll likely be auctioned. Quite a treasure trove and if you don't mind things that creep, crawl, or go bump in the night, have a look. Thanks to Gary Grant at thegarageblog.com for drawing our attention to this story.
