Here’s something that should happen in your town, my town, and everyone’s town. In reality it occurs at the Ace Cafe in London, UK. On the second Tuesday of every month classic car enthusiasts gather at a well-known (and obviously) retro restaurant to show off their mounts, socialise, and eat well. I got the info and photo from the Classic Cars Website, which I happily share with you. The Ace Cafe was, and still is, a biker’s hangout, so you’re just as likely to see some vintage motorcycles beside a wide variety of 4-wheelers. As I write this I’m trying to imagine an Ace Cafe in Sidney, BC and with a new restaurant opening on the Victoria International airport perimeter it’s a possibility, this area being a haven for oldtimers. So here’s a challenge: The new cafe is called “Bojangles.” How many of you know who Bojangles was? Use the “comments” box to keep us informed.

That’s a lovely little Sprite, one of my favorite sports cars and ideally suited to those winding English lanes. You may enjoy this blog, about how I tested the first Sprite in Canada on a race track north of Toronto:
